Register TODAY for the
18th Annual Hearts of Hope Gala!
Join us in celebrating our 18th Annual "Hearts of Hope Gala", located at the beautiful and stylish Radisson Blu, Mall of America. We are delighted to return to the Blu with it's fashion-forward, urban design, top culinary experience, and superb costumer service.
The evening will begin at 6:00 pm with a cash bar where guests can mingle, snack on cheese and fruit, and view the highly anticipated silent auction. At 7:30pm the silent auction will close and doors will open into the beautiful Lakes Ballroom for dinner, programming, live auction, and our fund-a-need program.
The Hearts of Hope Gala is one of HFMD's most important fundraisers of the year. Funds raised at this event will enable us to carry out our important programs and services for the bleeding disorders community. Since 1965, the Hemophilia Foundation of Minnesota/Dakotas has been working to help children and adults living with hemophilia through important programs like our summer camp for kids, emergency financial assistance, and our award winning family fitness program.
Hemophilia is an inherited life-threatening disease, which often causes excruciating pain and profound physical limitations. Persons with severe hemophilia frequently suffer through internal bleeds and daily complications. Today, with specialized care from Hemophilia Treatment Centers and ongoing infusion of plasma/factor therapies, persons with hemophilia can lead healthy and active lives.
The HFMD is thankful for all that volunteer their time to help make this night an evening to remember. We would also like to thank our sponsors - without your help, the HFMD would not be able to carryout all of the wonderful programs and events that we are so lucky to offer.
Register TODAY for the 2018 Hearts of Hope Gala to help celebrate and raise funds for the HFMD!
Since 1965, the Hemophilia Foundation of Minnesota/Dakotas (HFMD) has been providing quality programs and services to our bleeding disorders community in Minnesota and South Dakota. These programs include our amazing summer camp for kids, patient financial assistance for members experiencing financial crisis, post-secondary scholarships, group fitness events, annual member meeting, and ongoing education programs.
We work closely with our affiliated Hemophilia Treatment Centers (HTCs) to carry out these programs and services, and are very grateful for their support of our mission. *In the tri-state area of Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota there are approximately 880 individuals effected with hemophilia or related bleeding disorders.
The HFMD currently has three staff. We have twelve Board members who volunteer their time in many ways to this organization. HFMD has two annual fundraising events; our Hearts of Hope Gala, and annual Walk “Step Out for Bleeding Disorders”. Our funding comes from Individual donors, affiliated HTCs, and sponsors. We bring all stakeholders together toward the common goal of serving our bleeding disorders community.
HFMD is a proud member organization of the National Hemophilia Foundation and the Hemophilia Federation of America. We are also a charter member of Community Health Charities.
